You're still becoming, still unfolding, let yourself bloom and free yourself from the shackles of being defined by words, to define is to limit. you're so much more and you're yet to even see all of you.
i believe that not knowing oneself can be one of life's greatest blessings or curses. i prefer to view it from a glass-half-full perspective. not knowing oneself means not being limited; it is a constant quest for change, where, every day, we can become someone different, with new tastes, habits, and ideas. i am a person in constant transformation, and i thank god for that. imagine how boring it would be to be just one thing, confined to a single identity for the rest of your life. the world changes all the time, and energies are in constant motion, so it is only fair that i change as well. not knowing oneself offers the freedom to be whoever you want, presenting the possibility of spending your entire life in search of yourself. i hope to reach the age of 80 still curious about who i am and who i can become. i aspire to be a true walking metamorphosis, embracing the beauty of uncertainty and celebrating each transformation along the way 🦋
I think the question "Who are you? " can't really be answered in simplification manner, like what we wrote on our social media bio. Deep down we always know what represents ourself, we know what we like and we don't like. We know our values, we have hopes and dreams. Deep down we always know who we are. But when someone question us without clear context, it's normal to feel confuse of how to answer it. Because yes, we are complex. We can't define ourselves in only one or two ways. It's better for other people to recognize who we are by the way we express ourselves, through art or our voices. Because it is indeed not a question to be answered in one simple sentence.
your words are so beautiful, i love you so much 😭💓
love you lots, babe ❤️

'Who am I if not the person I am right now?'
Yeah, agreed. Our qualities and mindset at the present moment are what mainly define us, more so than our past.
